YOUR ROLE
As Genworth continues to support existing blocks of Long Term Care (LTC) insurance, a key component of our strategy is the ongoing assessment of our ability to keep promises to policyholders through actuarial experience, assumptions and reserving. To this end Genworth’s US Life Insurance division is looking for a LTC In-Force Process Manager to be responsible for organizing and coordinating the essential practices related to LTC In-Force activities. You will work extensively with various teams to help ensure the timely execution of processes and strategic initiatives.
What you will be doing
- Support project teams such as Benefit Solutions, Customer Experience, and In-Force Actions through meeting facilitation, note-taking, and tracking progress of action items
- Coordinate the quarterly model change process which includes leading quarterly planning sessions, creating the model change calendar, facilitating weekly check-ins, managing Sharepoint folders and ensuring all model documentation is completed on schedule
- Assist with annual LTC process map updates
- Facilitate mapping exercises to document existing processes and identify areas of opportunity
- Monitor completion of quarterly and annual control processes and upload supporting documentation to the external/internal audit teams
What you bring
- Demonstrated progression and growth through past career experiences on Business or IT-related projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills leveraged to interface with business stakeholders and external regulators
- Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests based upon business value
- Experience facilitating working sessions between different groups of stakeholders
Nice to Have
- BA or BS in related field
- Familiarity with Sharepoint editing
- PMP certification
- Previous experience with Long Term Care Insurance
- Experience with Visio
