As the Senior Advocacy Operations Specialist, you will be a valued member of our highly collaborative Corporate Affairs team and report to the Senior Director of Patient Advocacy and Engagement. You will play a vital role in advancing the company’s community engagement, patient centricity and corporate citizenship programs. Responsibilities
Provide registration and technical guidance to external applicants using the online submission portal (CyberGrants) and advance overall relationship management by providing excellent customer service and follow up
Track and complete action items from grant review committee meetings and the execution of grant agreements, contracts and disbursement of funding as assigned
Manage and maintain up-to-date calendar of advocacy partner events; manage and track participation and registration of company employees in sponsored fundraising and community events
Lead implementation of sponsorship benefits across approximately 50+ nonprofit partner organizations across Corporate Affairs portfolio, ensuring deadlines are met and benefits are proactively implemented
Oversee and grow library of advocacy content and assets, including photos, quotes, screenshots of online content, testimonials
Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate contracting process with patient advisors, speakers and ambassadors as assigned
Uphold program compliance by following procedures, financial standards, and legal requirements to
Manage scheduling, attendees and lead logistics for special events and meetings for Patient Advocacy and Professional Society Engagement
Create internal reports and administer the tracking of professional society engagement and patient advocacy and engagement metrics; conduct professional society and advocacy partner research as assigned
Work with Senior Director to manage the Advocacy Committee and facilitate quarterly meetings; champion employee engagement in advocacy events and initiatives
Qualifications
BS degree with 8+ years of experience in operations in a healthcare related organization
Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with CyberGrants or other grantmaking software preferred
Excellent project management and organizational skills, including planning, timelines and budgets
Strong written and verbal skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience from C-suite executives to patients and families
Understanding of compliance standards in the biopharmaceutical industry
Track record of impeccable customer service for internal and external partners
Commitment to patient centric values and demonstrated empathy
Ability to foster productive partnerships with internal departments, i.e. Finance, Legal, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical Development and Regulatory
Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as the service line and location where this position may be filled.
Salary Pay Range
$140,000—$171,000 USD
