This is a Sikorsky Field Service Representative (FSR) position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE supporting the Joint Aviation Command fleet.
The FSR would be available to render technical guidance to aid in the resolution of maintenance problems and answer questions pertaining to the operation, maintenance, or logistic concerns of the operator relative to the Air Vehicle and subsystems. The FSR would assist in the troubleshooting of material removal and replacement requirements on aircraft, assist in analysis of HUMS data specific to material condition, assist maintenance and flight crew personnel in answering technical and operational inquiries, provide over-the-shoulder guidance in fault diagnostics and use of support equipment, and serve as the liaison between the Buyer and Seller. The FSR will also participate in the annual PMR’s. The following tasks will be provided by the FSR; a) On-the-job training in the areas of maintenance and operation techniques; b) Guidance and instruction associated special tools and equipment; c) Assistance in identifying necessary or additional training areas; d) Demonstrate “best method” for the installation of modification and retrofit kits; e) Emphasize safety precautions; f) Provide technical guidance to resolve difficult maintenance issues; g) Provide guidance and support the Buyer in understanding of Seller technical bulletins and notifications such as Alert Service Bulletins (ASB), All Operator Letters (AOL), and Sikorsky Special Instructions (SSI); h) Provide an analysis of weapon kit maintenance program; i) Serve as a liaison to Seller; j) Provide monthly reports summarizing tasks and status; k) Provide the technical assistance required to assist the Buyer in recovering from an AOG case; l) Have the ability to load software on certain avionic components for both the Buyers Utility and Weapons configured aircraft. Specifically, software loading capabilities will be for those items listed below: • Flight Management System (FMS) • Multi-Functional Display (MFD) • Data Concentrator Unit (DCU)
This position is contingent on funding which is anticipated in Q3 2024 Experience loading software on aircraft avionic components. FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification, Federal Communication Commission (FCC) certification, Master Training Specialist certification, US Military Quality/Production Control experience. Experience supporting aircraft weapons systems. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years mechanical and electrical experience maintaining Sikorsky UH-60/S-70 military helicopters. Candidate must be willing to provide On Call support 24/7. Candidate must be capable of obtaining/maintaining a valid U.S. passport. Candidate must be willing to travel in support of customer requirements. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
