Position Summary

The successful candidate will lead the Change Management function. The Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all technology-related release and change activities while ensuring integrity of the environment. This leader will interact with all levels of the IT organization to drive accountability of all teams involved as well as simplify and automate processes to make it easier for IT partners to use.
 

The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong technical and interpersonal skills, and be willing to join a fast-paced, high-profile business area.
 

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Defines and Implements Transformational strategy for Change Management aligned with software lifecycle and Agile processes
• Drives Change Quality, Simplification and Automation
• Drives accountability of all teams involved in change process
• Benchmarks industry-leading measures
• Ability to provide real-time response to time sensitive requests
• Heads Change Advisory Board (CAB)
• Serves as SME for Internal and External Change Management Audits
• Accountable for maintaining Change Management Policies so that processes are documented, up-to-date, and accurate
• Ensures change requests meet minimal change management requirements thereby minimizing risk of changes having an adverse customer/client impact
• Partners with Senior Leaders and Application/Infrastructure SMEs to continually improve the Change process
• Educates IT partners about Change Management process

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience
• 5+ years of experience with ITSM tools
• 3+ years of experience with the MSOffice Suite with an emphasis on Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and to take initiative to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlines
• Attentive and considerate team player
• ITIL Certified

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
