Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office.
- Coordinates financial performance reporting processes for Farmers.
- Responsible for ensuring reporting completeness and accuracy within various applications.
- Assists in the preparation of performance related financial reports.
- Assists with the forecasting and annual planning processes.
- Supports financial planning, modeling, analysis, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Completes monthly and annual process to input data as required into performance applications to ensure Data Quality Dashboard requirements are fully achieved.
- Works directly with various leaders, as required. Coordinates communication and assists in presenting results and forecasts to upper management.
- Supports the creation of the annual Plan, including updating various models, analytical schedules and annual calculations.
- Analyzes and prepares Plan and Prior Year financial variance explanations on a monthly basis.
- Prepares presentations to the Board of Governors, Board of Directors, Zurich Insurance and the Leadership team.
- Evaluates financial results to identify trends, variances, and areas that need to be addressed.
- Completes analysis, evaluates financial impacts and recommends action to be taken on financial matters.
- Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals.

- Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA, CMA, MBA, Masters or similar preferred.
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred.
- External candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of prior Accounting or Finance experience.
- The same time-on-job requirement is preferred for internal candidates.
- Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.
Benefits
- Farmers offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications and location. Candidate qualifications may be reviewed against the requirements for the associated levels of this position's core function. Salary grade will be based on selected candidate's experience and skills.
