We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Systems Engineer for a Full-Time position.
The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing comprehensive support services to the WASO IR Support Services Division. This role involves managing telecommunications systems and providing technical assistance to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of video conferencing and phone services across multiple locations. The Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining communication channels for both customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop system database requirements for the telecommunications inventory.
Provide technical knowledge to the telecommunications team on issues, technology, and implementation strategies.
Provide technical support for the Avaya CM PBX, including user management and monitoring system performance.
Interface with maintenance providers to monitor and implement changes, updates, and upgrades to the Avaya Communication Manager PBX.
Actively manage change management functions and requirements for the PBX.
Perform routine tasks required to support system administration requirements, including compliance with service level agreements and DOI security protocols.
Provide technical support for the ordering, management, and service-wide coordination of video conferencing within.
Provide nationwide support for an enterprise VTC Infrastructure comprised of mostly Polycom equipment.
Perform routine tasks required to support system administration requirements for the ongoing support of the Video-Teleconferencing Services hardware and software.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Previous experience in telecommunications systems management and support.
Proficiency in Avaya CM PBX administration and troubleshooting.
Experience with video conferencing equipment, preferably Polycom.
Strong understanding of system administration requirements and compliance standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
