This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior business development leader to join the team to shape and drive Amazon Ad's strategic agency partnerships with a major agency for the US Spanish Ads Business.
Displaying a consultative style, the Head of Agencies and Partnerships candidate must be an excellent communicator who is experienced at navigating senior-level agency and advertiser relationships. This individual must also be adept at earning the trust with internal stakeholders across various Amazon teams. In addition, candidates should be experienced with utilizing all forms of data (1P and 3P) for the creation of narratives that help explain Amazon Spanish Ads as a growth opportunity for our agency and advertising customers.
A strong knowledge of search, e-commerce and programmatic as well as experience in media strategy will be beneficial. Candidates will be self-motivated, happy to work autonomously and highly goal-oriented in order to contribute to Amazon Ad's ambitious growth plans.

Key job responsibilities
The Agency Development Principal for the US Spanish advertising team is a critical leadership role, reporting directly to the US Spanish General Manager and responsible for driving the strategy, growth, and success of the agency business within the U.S. locale. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with major agency holding groups and independent agencies, as well as deep expertise and experience in the U.S. multicultural advertising and marketing landscape.
* Manage and develop client relationships with agency holding groups and brands targeting Spanish speakers and the multicultural market segment. Solid experience with and connections to key holding groups will be critical.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of the agency business from the ad sales perspective, including business development, account management, media planning/buying, and performance tracking.
* Work with the US large customer sales (LCS) Agency team, evangelizing the US Spanish offer internally and externally
* Liaise with internal teams to identify transformative opportunities for agency partnerships offered by Amazon Ads' product development roadmap
* Develop and execute a customer-led growth strategy for major US Spanish/Multicultural agencies
* Lead education and enablement of key agency functions including delivery of agency-wide events
* Identify opportunities for agency collaboration around creative solutions and large scale custom executions
* Exploring new cohorts of client partners (API partners, Indy Agencies, e-commerce Agencies, etc.)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 10+ years of media sales experience
* Experience working with senior agency executives and navigating agency dynamics
* Experience building new customer relationships
* Experience in business development working with media agencies
* Experience in search, e-commerce and media strategy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge of data-driven (i.e. programmatic) media trading
* Multicultural agency experience
* Experience working with Fortune 500 advertisers, agencies, and clients

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
