DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will provide public safety and public contact work within Little Buffalo State Park. This includes explaining park rules, preparing courtesy notices, and responding to emergency situations or requests for assistance from employees or visitors. Do not miss this exciting chance to promote the safe and use and enjoyment of facilities for people to picnic, swim, fish, hike, and experience nature and history. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Seasonal, full-time employment with no benefits
Work hours/days vary depending on operational needs, with a 30-minute lunch
Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:
You must possess an active motor vehicle license.
You must obtain valid certification in standard first aid and adult, child, and infant CPR approved by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or equivalent within 60 days of employment.
Other Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
You must pass a background investigation.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
