Position Overview
The Benefits Analyst performs a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in support of the employee benefits programs for our company.
Duties include, but are not limited to: handling the administration of the Company’s Severance Pay Plan; serving as liaison between HR/payroll and third party administrator for processing of employee disability requests; Partnering closely with People business partners and Payroll on a subset of open disability claims, including ensuring payment while on leave is accurate and ensuring escalated issues are addressed with vendor as well as conducting periodic training to the People business partners/managers in support of policy and procedure review; responsible for processing and reconciling funding requests and invoices accurately and in a timely manner; conducting regular vendor, payroll and data audits; supporting global wellness programs, interacting with HR professionals and employees regarding benefit questions; providing guidance and interpretation to HR professionals on benefit policies and procedures; delivering employee benefits orientation and open enrollment meetings; engaging in benefit surveys to gather and analyze information on benefits for determining competitiveness;and performing additional duties as assigned by Benefits Lead, North America.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Strong time management needed to prioritize effectively and handle multiple deadlines
Strong analytical and math skills required to determine benefits, payments and perform data analysis
Very strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite---Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as other business-related software systems
Knowledge of Workday, ADP, and human resources information system compatible reporting programs preferrable
Ability to work independently on complex projects requiring frequent problem solving and critical thinking
Ability to interpret and present data
Ability to identify and research data anomalies
Maintain strict confidentiality of departmental and employee issues
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Talent for working in a collaborative team environment, with cross-disciplinary teams of HR, Payroll and IT staff on project planning, testing and implementation
