The Director is the technology leader (build and run) supporting Pharma Segment Supply Chain Warehouse Management Operations network leading all technology aspects for critical business processes supporting $200B+ Pharma distribution businesses (includes PD, SPD and Harvard).
In this role you will also lead technology implementation for the Consumer Health Logistics Center project as Solution Owner, a $40M+ large scale program to deliver a new facility in Central Ohio, which will include implementation of segment’s first SaaS WMS, Warehouse Automation (deploying WES), and other next gen warehouse management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Owner of application portfolio exceeding $20M+ in annual investments ranging from managed service support agreements to large, cross-functional new program implementations.
- Accountable for technology solutions across 30 distribution centers (3,500 end users) providing technical support services 24/6 and large program delivery for PSS (Pharma and Specialty Solutions).
- Lead a remote team of 20+ employees, 80+ contractors across four continents and three U.S. time zones.
- Partner with multiple business clients and stakeholders to set priorities and alignment on execution plans.
- Drive implementation and adoption of NFRs to drive operations success.
- Influence leaders and peer group to drive improvements, expansion, or help overcome obstacles / challenges for team.
- Build & maintain a strong partnership with Enterprise Architecture and other internal & external networks.
- Manage department and project budget.
- Understand and value role of strategic partners and how to leverage to support critical initiatives and ongoing maintenance and support.
- Represent organization effectively to clients and external groups.
Qualifications
- Bachelors and Advanced Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 12+ years’ experience in related field preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- Strong people leader for direct and indirect team members. Talent Mgt – Coaches, mentors, advocates.
- Demonstrated ability to set technology direction and oversee successful delivery and/or support of technology solutions.
- Exemplary communications and relationship management skills.
- Client / Customer focus and service mindset is a must.
- Experience with Lean tools and practices required.
- Strong MSA providers partnership rapport
- Exceptional Business Partner
- Ability to work under significant scope ambiguity and drive changes as required.
- Disciplined focus in Controls and Security aspects of technology solutions and processes.
- Warehouse Management Systems /Operations or Supply Chain Technology experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical wholesaler supply chain functional knowledge (Inventory, warehouse Operations, transportation) is preferred.
- Strong vendor management experience, contract negotiations, building and executing SOWs with outcomes required.
- Has Drive and energy to lead a large cross functional global team.
- Expert program and project management principals, execution, and governance.
- Desire to be in the office with ability to travel 10-15%.
Anticipated salary range: $130,700 - $211,050
