- This position is critical to support field assignments and priorities for dealer performance improvement, communicating the priorities of the Sales Vice Presidents and the entire organization.
- The primary goal for this position is to enable our field staff to be as effective as possible by providing efficient and effective communications. The Field Communications department strives to enhance sales and aftersales effectiveness and productivity.
- The field communications manager provides assistance to the departments and assist with prioritizing tasks and assignments to reduce the friction/complexity of conducting business. This allows for the field team and Dealers to focus on profitability and ensure their key strategic priorities are met.
- Interface with and assist the regions in carrying out the priorities and objectives of National Sales, Customer Experience, Aftersales, Dealer Network Development, Marketing, and all operational departments within the organization.
- Support and collaborating within Field Operations - Field Sales Operations & Analysis, Field Training Needs, Dealer Performance and Relations, to ensure alignment and to help align on priorities.
- Exercise independent judgement to assist the regions in the attainment of objectives through communication, training, and prioritization of tasks.
- Work directly with HMA Executive Management daily, taking primary direction from the VPs National Sales, and department leadership.
- Collaborate effectively with all Executives, HMA personnel, and affiliates as needed to accomplish tasks and strategies provided by National Sales Executives.
- Support the Sr. Manager in coordinating, scheduling, and supporting monthly and quarterly meetings.
- Assist the department and Sr. Manager with coordinating and supporting all departments with various assignments including project management, business partner management, executive participation, and coordination.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
Budget Management
- Oversee Field Operations purchasing activities associated with project responsibility such as developing Scope of Services (SOS) documents and overseeing the Purchase Request (PR) process for all department programs.
- Provide strategic direction on best usage of the department budget utilizing SAP system.
- Proactively monitor and analyze department budget spending and assist division with accruals and budget schedules.
- Department leadership, employee supervision, program development, problem identification, and finding solutions are all expected in this position.
- All employee evaluations, CR/PR/expense report approvals, program approvals, and budget decisions must ultimately be approved by the Director and/or VP of National Sales.

~ Master’s degree a plus
- Six or more years of experience of which at least five years of directly related experience in the automotive industry.
- Field and District Sales Manager experience a plus.
- Supervisory experience desired.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to structure presentations for senior management.
- Creative and strategic thinker.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

$86,800.00 - $124,000.00 Annual
