LSU Health New Orleans Division of Property and Facilities is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Custodian 1 or 2. There are multiple vacancies, hours of operation for these positions are 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
These positions are in a Career Progression Group As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a (Custodian 1 or 2) depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant(s). Please refer to the ‘Job Specifications’ tab located at the top of the LA Careers ‘Current Job Opportunities’ page of the Civil Service website for specific information on salary ranges, minimum qualifications and job concepts for each level.
Starting rate of pay for a Custodian 1 is $10 and Custodian 2 is $10.70 per hour. There is also an additional $1 Longevity pay for hours worked only and $1 Shift Differential pay. Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the applicants’ qualifications.

This is a Civil Service Position. This position does not require applicants to take a Civil Service test.
