Responsibilities What you'll Do Due to our continuous growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional who has a demonstrated ability to work on significantly complex tax preparations with minimal or indirect supervision to successfully perform the following job responsibilities and duties. Responsibilities: Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision work, including general ledger downloads, tax account analysis, etc. Manage the collection of the Company’s financial information and work closely with local advisors in their preparation of local country statutory financial statements and foreign income tax returns. Assist with the review of the local statutory financial statements and the foreign income tax returns. Prepare and manage the income tax calculations related to the various Sch M book/tax adjustments, including maintaining the Company's tax fixed assets for FDII and GILTI. Assist in the preparation and filing of the U.S. corporate income Federal, state, and local tax returns, including Form 5471s and 8858s. Responsible for various aspects of tax payments, including maintaining appropriate documentation of all payments, reconciling payment information to the corresponding tax accounts on the GL, preparing quarterly estimated payments and annual extensions for each entity, making and maintaining documentation for the Tax Department’s electronic tax payment transfers. Assist with the review of local country VAT/GST filings in foreign jurisdictions prepared by local advisors. Assist in gathering information and drafting responses for various audits and tax notices. Prepare the FBAR, FACTA, W8-BEN, W-9, etc. filings. Manage the filings and payments of sales and use tax, personal property and gross receipts tax obligations prepared externally. Manage the business and tax registration process and reporting. Assist with tax issues relating to program bid offerings, i.e., income taxes, VAT, and payroll taxes. Understand and research basic to moderately complex tax concepts and their application to company situations. Assist with special tax projects including transfer pricing, R&D credits, WOTC, M&A, CbCR reporting, analyzing revenue by country reports, etc. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s in Tax degree a plus ) in Accounting or Finance required. Certifications/Licenses: CPA certification preferred Experience Two (2) -five (5) years' professional tax experience preferably in public accounting and demonstrating a progression in complexity and scope of tax matters. Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and Tax Return software a plus. Other Requirements: Able to work at our McLean, VA headquarters on a hybrid basis U.S. Citizenship Skills & Technology Used: Self-starter with high energy and a positive attitude. Strong work ethic and professionalism. Excellent project management skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.
