ASRC Federal is seeking a Business Analyst, Healthcare where you will be part of a team which provides nutrition strategy, policy and oversight services in support of the Department of Defense’s (DoD) continuing efforts to assess, understand, and maintain the well-being and readiness of the Joint Force. Your focus area will be the Total Force Fitness (TFF) Nutrition domain area. The analyst will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that a holistic vision of nutrition is captured in all deliverables.
Assist with the development of briefing materials, presentations, policies, and decision memos that address nutritional fitness.
Contribute to the on-going efforts of a Nutrition Committee to coordinate nutrition efforts across the DoD Services and other DoD entities.
Analyze strategy and policy from various sources (i.e. internal policy, shareholder input, and leadership direction) and synthesize the information in order to respond to taskers, requests for information, and audits
Conduct bi-annual environment scans of proposed legislation to maintain situational awareness of policy that will impact the Nutrition Work-Stream
Draft action memos, executive summaries, responses/reports to Congress, and internal/external briefing decks
Support departmental meetings (scheduling, due out tracking, and meeting minutes)

Must possess a current DoD Secret level clearance or have ability to obtain one (US Citizenship Required)
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a health-related field of study but not required
Minimum of three years’ experience working as a business analyst
Preferred experience with DoD internal memo structure/types and the legislative process
Preferred experience in the health nutrition domain
