Actuarial Analyst I
As an Actuarial Analyst I you will perform statistical analysis of insurance data using personal computer and mainframe applications.
You will also develop recommendations for rate plan modifications and reserve reviews. Perform actuarial studies and research as directed.
What You’ll Do:
You will perform data gathering, calculations, and analysis required for actuarial projects, including rate and reserve reviews as well as special projects.
You’ll make recommendations for rate and reserve level adjustments based on guidelines provided.
You will compile loss experience data to respond to data calls from regulators or other external sources.
You’ll develop information from the Actuarial Data Warehouse and other sources as directed by supervisor to develop trends in loss results.
You will progress toward professional designation by developing actuarial technical expertise as evidenced by passing actuarial exams.
You’ll maintain current rate manuals of major competitors. Prepare comparisons of rates and rating plans as directed.
You will research legislation or court decisions which may impact insurance costs.
You’ll analyze and prepare recommendations, within guidelines provided, to modify the Club's rate structure to respond to changes.
What You’ll Need:
To thrive in this role, you must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related discipline.
Have 1 - 3 years prior actuarial experience.
Have completed 2 – 3 Casualty Actuarial Society exams.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$76,400.00 - $101,900.00
Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
