The Job:
As the Materials Planning Governance Manager, you will lead the governance and support of SBD Global Materials Planning Business Process and Systems driving adherence to best practices and policies through development of exception management tools and processes to ensure integrity of the end-to-end plannings process.
You will build an engaged and high-performing team of subject matter experts, promoting a global mindset, to ensure the effective governance of our planning systems. As a primary owner of Materials Planning Business Process, you will have a significant role in the ongoing SAP ERP implementations and rollouts, as well as a supporting role in the SAP IBP implementation, supporting change management, and leading user’s training plans to the global planning community.
Define global Materials planning processes and policies to ensure best-in-class process functional design and implementation. Establish adherence measuring rules and exception reporting rhythms to ensure consistency of processes and accuracy of data. Support playbook development.
Lead a team of SMEs to support the regions on business-driven projects for enhancements and strategy execution as needed, ensuring alignment to global solutions; and system related inquiries requiring troubleshooting, resolution.
Liaise between business stakeholders and Engage (IT) teams to understand and interpret requirements for collaborative design and delivery on solutions.
Lead business support for Materials planning system initiatives across the regions, coordinating tasks and resources to support projects, proactively managing risks and communication with project stakeholders. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing for planning system enhancements.
Establish training plans and rhythms for new and existing materials planners, including cross-functional training when needed, to ensure end-to-end process integrity in collaboration with IT and Business Partners. Maintain relevant support materials including training and FAQ and distribute to appropriate end users.
The Person:
B.S. Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of Supply Chain, Materials Planning and Project Management experience; people leader experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Materials Planning principles & systems in global setting. SAP ECC 6.0 (C11 and/or E03), SAP IBP experience.
Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast paced environment.
Ability to convey complex ideas in clear, accessible technical and business language, experience in training.
Flexibility to travel, including internationally, ~10% of the time.
