MIG is seeking an exceptional Yardi Administrator / IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role involves solutions-oriented interactions with a range of internal and external stakeholders and requires expertise across hardware and software systems. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth as our firm undertakes a major technology transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Yardi Admin and User Support: Serve as the primary contact for employees and third-party users of MIG’s Yardi software platform. Provide support for changes to database-level configurations and maintenance tasks, including diagnosing and resolving technical issues that may require in-depth knowledge of the underlying database structure and integration points between different Yardi modules. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various Yardi software modules, including Voyager and Rent Café.
Azure Data Lake Support: Handle database-related tasks and troubleshooting within the Azure Data Lake environment.
Microsoft Tools Administration: Manage Teams, SharePoint, and Azure environments, including user accounts, groups, permissions, system performance, custom solutions, and issue resolution.
Vendor Coordination: Act as the technical point of contact for vendors and consultants, coordinating IT projects, evaluating vendor performance, and ensuring quality services.
Technology Integration: Research, recommend, test, and deploy new IT solutions and hardware. Provide training and documentation for end-users.
Desktop Support: Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, supplementing the managed service provider.
Office IT Management: Coordinate with MSP to maintain IT infrastructure, ensure equipment security, and manage technology assets in corporate and regional offices.
Business Continuity: Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure data backup and recovery systems are in place. Regularly test and review business continuity plans.
User Training: Conduct IT training sessions for users to enhance their technical skills and system understanding.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a technical support engineer.
Strong understanding and experience with Yardi property management software.
Knowledge of web services, API, IP-based protocols, scripting languages, SQL, computer hardware, networking systems, Windows, and iOS.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and aptitude for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience providing remote technical support via phone, email, or chat.
