Role Purpose
?Build and maintain data pipeline, complex dashboards and create data-driven insights on MVH Commercial strategic initiatives while understanding our fundamental business drivers.
Analyze, scope, develop and implement standard reporting/dashboards & analytics, working with various MVH Business Units.
Be the primary point of contact on Purchasing/Commercial data for MVH, supporting end users and maintaining data governance.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
- Design, manage and maintain global spend cube by bringing in all procurement data from all BUs so our teams can use them to look for opportunities and make strategic decision and drive value.
- Support and maintain Procurement system (OrderRight), strategic sourcing management system and inventory solution by ensuring data is current, the systems are working appropriately, and assisting end users with questions and/or troubleshooting issues.
- Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements, identifying the data needs, creating dashboards and analytics, and communicating results to management and project teams.
- Extract data from different source systems, draw key insights, and produce clear and concise reporting and analytics.
- Lead cross-functional and cross BU teams in managing team-based projects by scoping work, clarifying dependencies on others, and completing projects in a timely manner, documenting processes along the way.
- Create and maintain metrics dashboards(e.g. P2P, price exception, contract pricing etc.) for all MVH BUs so Procurement and Finance team can help drive purchasing and invoicing efficiencies.
- Build tools using approved technologies to manage our savings intake, tracking and reporting.
- Understand our COGS, identify inventory cost reduction opportunities, making recommendations to automate and streamline inventory forecasting and procedures.
- Contribute to strategic planning, analysis activities and documentation of inventory & supply chain management projects.
- Provide necessary training to all the sourcing and buying-ops team on various tools and technology to do their job efficiently and effectively.

Special Working Conditions:
- Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
- Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
- Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
- Environment where pets are present.
Experience, Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance/Accounting or Supply Chain & Logistics is preferred, or a combination of education, training and experience to provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- 3 years’ of experience in Coupa purchasing systems is required.
- 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft PowerBI and other BI technology is required.
- 5+ years' experience in Oracle SQL or similar, Microsoft Suite technology.
- 3+ years' experience using SmartSheet technology.
- Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerBI, Microsoft Azure (Data Lake/Data Brick), and Coupa.
- Health care background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) is preferred.
Salary: $75,000 – $112,000
