Join the NVFS Family: We are looking to hire a Workplace Solutions Supervisor to join the NVFS Workplace Solutions team! As the Workplace Solutions Supervisor (WPS), you will oversee all administrative activities at the Fairview site and adjacent buildings, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day front desk coverage and associated activities. In addition, you would play a significant role in property management for our Affordable Domestic Units (ADUs) and ongoing documentation and process improvement for the WPS team across the agency. This role is critical in fostering positive relationships with employees, residents, vendors, and property managers. As the ideal candidate, you will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills and focus on process improvement and resident satisfaction.

This position has a starting salary of low to mid 70s.
In this role, you will:
Staffing and Coverage:
- Identify and fulfill staffing needs; work collaboratively with each staff member on talent development process to set job and development goals; approve timesheets, leave and reimbursement requests; provide ongoing staff orientation and training to enable staff to deliver client service effectively.
- Supervise program staff including conducting regular individual and group staff meetings and case consultation; ensure proper client to staff ratio and monitor case files for quality and completeness.
- Provide consultative case management to partner agency staff to ensure that service delivery is of high quality and performed according to and within the programmatic policies and procedures, and contractual/licensing requirements.
- Conduct regular and timely supervision according to established program guidelines.
- Participate in weekly onsite case conference meetings between RSSP staff & clients to provide Q&A responses, crisis intervention support, and case management oversight (RSSP Program only)
Program Coordination:
- Recommend program development strategies that align with best practices.
- Implement programs ensuring goals, objectives and outcomes are met.
- Ensure that service delivery is of high quality and performed according to and within the NVFS policies and procedures, and contractual/licensing requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners relating to program management and referral processes.
Client Service Delivery:
- Monitor cases from initial referral through discharge, promoting efficient and effective client services and administration procedures. Ensure adequate client record keeping, statistical and performance outcome reporting.
- Ensure that service delivery is performed according to and within the NVFS mission, policy and procedural directions, case management model, and contractual requirements.
- Provide direct case work in the absence of direct service staff.
Compliance and Reporting Requirements:
- Work collaboratively with the Grants and Reporting Administrator and/or Government Grants Manager in order to:
- provide input to prepare narrative and statistical reports to the Agency measuring expenditures, outcomes and program effectiveness;
- ensure that program maintenance of data in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and MARS/ETO meets or exceeds requirements in assigned program areas.
Meeting/Community Outreach/Resource Participation:
- May act as liaison between:
- Housing Department and Finance.
- Agency and County’s Housing Management Teams
- Agency and County’s Homeless Services Teams
- Agency and HOPWA services local agencies
- Coordinate programmatic activities such as developing outreach materials.
- Fulfill agency and funding requirements for participation and presentations at community events, meetings, workshops and conferences.
Your Background: We understand that you may obtain skills through a variety of professional, personal, educational, and volunteer experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Must have at least two (2) years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Program management experience specializing in human services;
- Supervisory experience providing direct supervision of staff;
- Experience working with homeless or at-risk populations with demonstrated understanding of systemic issues that affect low income and marginalized people.
- Experience within the working community continuum of care a plus.
- Proficiency in usage of basic technological tools including laptops/computers, email, phones, and internet; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills.
- Contract management and HMIS experience a plus.
- Oral and written fluency in English; additional language skills always welcome.
- Must be able to demonstrate and live the organizational values of Communication, Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, and Accountability.
Additional requirements:
- Successful completion of background checks upon hire
- May be called upon to work beyond normal working hours
- Must have reliable transportation to visit ADU properties and designated community locations
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, stoop, lift, and reach with hands and arms.
