Study Hall Monitors generally work 1-3 evenings per week, Sundays-Thursdays, from 3:45 pm-10:15pm.
Monitors must be available to work the entire six-hour shift.

Study Hall Monitors oversee Mandatory Study Hall and tutoring sessions in the Andrew J. Talley Athletic Center and report to the Office of Academic Support for Athletics. They are responsible for monitoring the facility, supervising students and tutors, and enforcing rules.
Requirements:
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all student-athletes and tutors in study hall and maintain a quiet study environment
Maintain accurate attendance records in the computer tracking system
Monitor all tutor sessions taking place in the center
Enforce study hall rules and follow proper protocol to report incidents
Communicate regularly with the Academic Support for Athletics staff
Implement necessary fire, safety, and evacuation protocol
Secure building and facility space upon opening and closing hours
Perform other duties as assigned

Work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Ability to use creative problem solving skills
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred willingness to learn basic NCAA rules
Additional Information:
The Mandatory Study Hall Program provides a quiet area for varsity student-athletes to study or meet with tutors. Student-athletes that fall below a minimum grade point average are required to complete a designated number of study hall hours each week.
