The Clinical Nurse on G17 Stem Cell Transplantation & Cellular Therapy unit at MD Anderson Cancer Center manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care. They impact quality of patient care, patient outcomes and use of resources in a designated area in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, an RN license and at least twelve months of recent RN experience in medical/surgical or an acute care setting.
Shift will be 7am-7pm, with rotating weekends and holidays required.
Hourly breakdown of salary range:
Minimum $32.69 - Midpoint $48.56 - Maximum $64.42

The Inpatient Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Therapy unit is a 48 bed unit and is one of our designated immunotherapy floors, administering research protocols involving immunotherapy and CARTOX therapy to patients, including Phase 1 clinical trials.As such, our staff receive additional training to develop the skills needed to provide exceptional care to patients receiving this progressive therapy.

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
No experience required. All clinical nurses with less than one year registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
LICENSURE: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification if working in the following department: Nrsg Post Anesthesia Care Unit (600160).
