Primary Responsibility / Summary
Performs grounds and landscape maintenance at multiple Company and contract locations, and drives to work sites.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs grounds/landscape maintenance services in a professional manner, providing neat, attractive appearance; duties include lawn care, planting, weeding, trimming, and irrigation repairs.
- Drives company vehicle to job sites, transporting crew and equipment.
- Maintains all landscape equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established operating procedures.
- Maintains landscape supply inventory, anticipating needed supplies and notify supervisor when supply order is needed, to avoid delays in performing service.
- Interacts cooperatively with customers.
- Works cooperatively with team members, to accomplish duties in the most efficient, effective manner.
Other Qualifications
- Possesses a valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance.
- Required to travel extensively (> 50% of the time).
- Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Punctual and dependable attendance.
- Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
- Understands the basic philosophy of Goodwill and participates fully in carrying out its mission.
