The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for a Fiscal Technician for the Internal Business Department of the Business Services Division. Under general direction, this position performs complex and difficult accounting functions, and performs other related work.
This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of college-level accounting, financial or business courses and substantial work experience involving the application of accounting and bookkeeping principles including collecting, classifying and summarizing fiscal transactions, maintaining entry accounts and preparing periodic statements and reports. Experience must include significant use of Microsoft Excel to perform accounting duties. Experience with Adobe and/or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
