As the Value Creation Office (VCO) Leader, you will be responsible for driving change management within the organization – all with the resources, environment and support to help you excel. This role will focus on implementing strategic initiatives focused on both revenue growth and profitability enhancement. The VCO Leader will oversee the planning, communication, execution, and reporting of these initiatives, managing day-to-day program activities, coordinating workstream interdependencies, and ensuring successful initiative delivery. The VCO Leader will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organization to drive functional change and continuous improvement.
Your day-to-day may include:
Change Management
Driving change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new initiatives and processes.
Developing and executing comprehensive change management plans, including communication, training, and support strategies.
Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization.
Program Management
Overseeing the day-to-day management of value creation programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinating and managing external advisors and consultants involved in strategic initiatives.
Designing and executing each workstream within the VCO, ensuring alignment and integration with overall program objectives.
Managing and reporting on workstream interdependencies, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Planning and Execution
Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for strategic initiatives.
Monitoring and measuring the impact of initiatives, using data and analytics to assess effectiveness and inform adjustments.
Ensuring alignment of digital transformation efforts with business functions and processes.
Communication and Reporting
Developing and implementing communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed of progress, outcomes, and benefits of initiatives.
Preparing and presenting regular updates and reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders, including investors.
Maintaining transparency and accountability through effective reporting mechanisms, including detailed tracking against achievement of financial targets.
Other duties as assigned.
You have the following technical skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced or Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 12 years of related work experience with at least 2 years spent at a top management consulting firm.
Relevant certification such as Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMI, PROSCI or a similar certification preferred. If you do not hold a relevant certification at time of hire, you may have the opportunity to earn one after starting with Grant Thornton.
Proven track record of driving change management initiatives within a large professional services organization
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex initiatives.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases.
