The Opportunity
The HTA Specialist develops, adapts and implements Health Technology Assessment (HTA) strategies and economic evaluations and identifies how the results will contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive solutions that ensures access to innovation, thus contributing to improve the quality of patients lives, the sustainability of health systems and Roche.
Responsibilities
Leads the construction and execution of HTA and economic evaluations strategies for Roche's portfolio.
Contributes to the co-creation of affiliates reimbursement strategies for public and private key accounts.
Participates in the affiliate's Evidence Generation Committee, ensures compliance with Roche policies, and recommends economic evaluations that best serve its needs.
Integrates the network by aligning the HTA with the access plans and the roles and priorities of the affiliate.
Supports reimbursement negotiations with public and private payers through economic evaluations.
Executes capacity building programs for internal and external key stakeholders on HTA.
Monitors the competitive environment and legislative frameworks applicable to HTA to determine any impact on Roche's portfolio.
Who you are
Healthcare professional with 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related sectors, in similar positions.
Complete university education with a master's or specialty in pharmacoeconomics or public health.
Knowledge of affiliate healthcare systems (Central America, Caribbean and Venezuela).
Collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams and promotes networking and exchange of good practices
Proven experience developing and executing HTA strategies and economic evaluations to ensure access to innovation for Roche's portfolio
Participation in negotiation processes for the inclusion and reimbursement of innovative therapies in healthcare systems.
Proficiency in the local language and intermediate/advanced English, oral and written.
