Position Summary:
Operates and maintains electronic and mechanical anesthesia equipment, maintains and stocks anesthesia carts and pediatric cart with supplies, develops, implements, and evaluates new procedures and techniques, provides assistance to the anesthesiologist with induction and emergence from anesthesia, maintains records/files and keeps appropriate documentation on anesthesia equipment, assures appropriate evaluation of supplies/equipment by anesthesiologist, demonstrates cost-effectiveness in use/purchase of supplies/equipment, maintains communications with Anesthesia Chief and OR Manager and OR Director, performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Mandatory: 1) Knowledge of the surgical environment and aespetic technique 2) BLS certification 3) Knowledge of preparation and use of anesthesia delivery system Preferred: 1) High school diploma 2) Member of the American Society of Anesthesiology Technicians/Technologists
