Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: Under supervision and the direction of the Program Supervisor, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive full year child development program for infants/toddlers and preschoolers.

California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher
Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school required. One year experience in an early childhood setting preferred. Enrollment in Associates or Bachelor's degree program in child development or related field preferred. Three to six units infant/toddler care/development required, based on Permit held.

BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
