Position Summary
The Work Study Assistant will work under the direction of the Director of Digital Broadcast Media to assist with supervising a staff of students participating in WSR or Stevie TV.
Education/Experience
Currently enrolled Stevenson University student in good standing with the University academically and judicially, with Federal Work Study eligibility. Prefer students who are involved with campus programs and/or events.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
Outgoing personality and public speaking skills for events
Exceptional Organizational skills in regards to scheduling
Ability to effectively gather or learn to gather audio or video
Ability to show professional judgement in selection of content
Knowledge of audio/video production basics, general software proficiency
Ability to travel between campuses
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Physical Requirements
Medium work: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move object. Keyboarding, standing and/or sitting, walking, talking and hearing. Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer terminal. Clear speaking voice.
Essential Functions
Assist Director with managing staff of WSR or StevieTV in production of digital media
Assist Director with recruiting, scheduling and training students of WSR or StevieTV.
Promote WSR or StevieTV at campus events as required.
Represent the Marketing office professionally at events on campus
