Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the definition of architecture requirements for all information systems, covering both functional and non-functional (i.e., performance, reliability, security) aspects.
Defines and documents the key architectural concepts, abstractions and the target system architecture, spanning application, information/data and technical infrastructure.
Selects strategic tools and platforms for development, testing and deployment.
Ensures the communication of principle technical drivers such as trends, best practice, setting and applying standards.
Defines technical objectives, goals, constraints, key features and overall architecture approach.
Mentors technical staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
7+ years of experience
Interpret business needs and translate into technical requirements
Apply proper enterprise patterns to solutions
·Communicate technical requirements to IT partners (by creating and reviewing solution diagrams)
·Be a trusted partner to both the business and IT
·Improve our Architecture Practice by creating target states, road maps, patterns, efficiencies, etc.
Leadership and interpersonal skills are essential (ex. teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation)
oPersonal attributes focus on being a self-starter, collaborative, curious, strong work ethic, highly motivated, and team oriented
oProactive solution orientation with a drive to overcome obstacles
oExperience developing IT and cloud solutions
oCurrent understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
oExperience in software engineering and design architecture

oExposure to multiple technical environments
oAgile experience is preferred
