Job Summary
Flagship is seeking a Facilities HVAC Technician. This person will be an integral part of the team by supporting the overall mission, goals, and tactical initiatives of the Facilities Team. The Facilities HVAC Technician will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing throughout the facilities, with a main focus on HVAC.
Pay Rate: $50 - $55 per hour.
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 - 4:00p

- Responding to after-hours emergency calls and summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Maintains, operates, and repairs HVAC and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds about assigned building(s).
- Inspects building HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure equipment operation is within design capabilities and meets the client's environmental conditions.
- Performs assigned repairs and emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
- Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedule.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to: door repairs, furniture & equipment moves, event set-ups, and MEP facility related repairs.
Knowledge and Skills
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite, building management systems such as Alerton & Automated Logic (ALC). Familiarity with work order ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an innate understanding of when to elevate an issue.
- An understanding of building structure and MEP systems.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and vendor quotes/proposals.
- Excellent communication skills: oral, graphic and written, problem-solving skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Ability to be flexible, make sound professional judgments, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of personal accountability, self-organization, autonomy and discipline.
- Ability to work with people at all levels with an open and engaging personality.
- Ability to safely work at heights up to 16’.
- Ability to Lift up to 60 lbs.
Education and Work Experience
- HVAC Certified or High School Diploma with 5 or more years of equivalent job related experience.
- Working towards HVAC certification if not already obtained.
- EPA Certified
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial building environment.
- Experience in a Corporate Headquarters operations environment, preferably on a campus or high-profile commercial space.
- Experience with the implementation of a work order/asset management system.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
