Job Summary
The Marin County Office of Education operates a comprehensive residential Outdoor Education and Conference Center Program at Walker Creek Ranch, 1700 Marshall Petaluma Road, Marshall, California- which provides educational programs and conference facilities to student and adult groups of 50 to 300 (+), seven days a week through most of the year.
This position is located at Walker Creek Ranch, an Outdoor Education School and Conference Center operated by the Marin County Office of Education. This is a rural environment, about 30 minutes west of Novato and Petaluma, in west Marin County offering programs to both the public education sector and outside groups. The working conditions are optimal in a beautiful facility with great staff.
Requirements / Qualifications

Conditions of Employment:
Employees are required to submit to a Department of Justice background check and provide proof of freedom from tuberculosis and vaccination for measles.
Under direction performs a wide variety of Ranch duties, while mostly clerical in nature, includes scheduling and coordinating meetings and conferences; oral and written communications; word processing, transcription, typing, and recordkeeping. May also be required to assist in various housekeeping and Ranch duties as the need arises.
Any combination of education, training, and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties as described, including courses in office practices and procedures and experiences in relating effectively with staff and the public. Positions in this class are required to possess a valid California driver's license.
