Responsibilities: | The Performance and Event Communications team at College of Performing Arts seeks a highly motivated student to serve as Photography & Videography, Student Assistant Specialist. We’re looking for a responsible, self motivated, and collaborative individual to support initiatives within College of Performing Arts Production/Performance Operations. This position reports to the Manager of Performance & Events Communications and is an ideal position for students who are interested in a career in photography, videography, and marketing.
Both Federal Work Study (FWS) and On Campus Student Employment (OCSE) applicants will be considered.

Salary - Hourly: $17 per hour. 2-15 hours per week depending on performance calendar.
Work Mode: - Work Mode: Onsite. This position is for 2-15 hours per week depending on the amount of events at a given time. Sessions are on-site. Editing and delivering the media can be done on site or remotely.
Responsibilities - Photography: Be available on-site to photograph College of Performing Arts events, performances, rehearsals, interviews and portraits as scheduled.
- Label and deliver edits in a timely and organized manner via email or a shared cloud drive
- Videography for social media: capture and post video and photos for social media marketing
- Social media: Create and edit social media content and postings
- Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications - Photography experience
- Matriculating in a photography degree or concentration
- Social media marketing experience or high proficiency as a social media user
- Experienced or able to learn and develop fluency in The New School’s suite of applications including Google Suite, Microsoft Office
- Promptness, reliability, professionalism and adherence to scheduled call-times
