Apply now for the position of Finance ControllingSpecialist, and you will join our team key contributor to the highlydynamic NAM Performance Controlling team. The role calls for participation inall facets of the group, including financial reporting and planning, closingand cost center controlling, KPI analysis, forecast and ad hoc projects &reports and contribute to a healthy team environment in a high-performanceculture.
The first phase of the assignment targets to gain experienceacross all the three main areas within Performance Controlling (Closing, CostControlling, Management Reporting). In the next phase, in-depth expertise, andsupport of Business Area specific needs, with focus on general FP&A, inaddition to the interaction across NAM finance functions and global Regional Financecolleagues.
Thisis a hybrid position in our Malvern, PA office.
Your Role:
- Support management reporting tasks (PerformanceDialogues, CFO P&L reviews, etc.) by providing overview on company’sfinancial performance and key business data.
- Perform critical analysis and review on P&Lactual performance and forecast changes and identify actions/measures needed toachieve business targets.
- Support of Business Area specific needs, fromgeneral FP&A to in-depth analysis on legal entity topics.
- Perform analysis of COGS and SG&A, provide transparencyon cost drivers, identify opportunities for productivity improvement.
- Completion of key activities to support themonthly closing process (journal entries, account reconciliation, trendanalysis).
- Create new and improve existing financial modelsand forecast methodology.
- Key contributor to support the JEDOX projectteam regarding enhancements of the reporting & planning tool.
- Take a lead role in assessing processes withinNAM PC to drive improvements, automation, and efficiencies, and respective monitoringvia KPIs.
- Evaluate and drive implementation ofdigitalization and automation opportunities to streamline and simplify existingworkflows.
Required Skills, Education and Experience for thisposition:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration,or related area.
- Know-how and experience in various types offinancial analysis (preferably 3+ years).
- Building appropriate rapport with colleagues atall levels of the organization.
- Effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in afast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint /think-cell, and SAP.
- Experience with business intelligence tools,data analysis and visualization, automation and digitalization are a plus(JEDOX, Excel macros, KNIME, UIPath, Microsoft PowerApps suite, etc.).
- Minimal travel (<5%) may be required.
