Overview
The Criminal Justice@SPIA Initiative in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University is looking for a full-time project coordinator to support operations for a new network of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working together on the challenge of reducing gun violence. The coordinator will report to the project manager and also work closely with Princeton faculty member Patrick Sharkey and collaborators at the National Institute for Criminal Justice Reform. Tasks include event planning for multiple meetings of the network, communicating about events and logistical details to network members, conducting background research and contributing to written memos and reports, and communications support such as updating websites and creating documents.

Event planning: Manage all aspects of events from initial planning to implementation and follow-up. Tasks include room reservations, invitations, travel bookings, arranging AV support, tracking participants, arranging production of event materials, arranging catering, managing room setup/cleanup, and processing expense reports.
Communications and research: Communicate with network participants; manage websites; create emails and documents; draft news blurbs; design materials such as event programs, agendas, posters, etc. Conduct background research on various topics related to criminal justice, violence, and community anti-violence programs. Assist with writing of research memos and reports.
Operations: Order and manage supplies for the network; manage schedules and calendaring; manage Zoom meetings; correspond with collaborators and vendors related to logistical matters
