Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. Responsibilities for the position include laboratory instruction, working with Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Technician to provide lab support each term, determining supplies and consumables to be ordered to support teaching laboratories, and determining that laboratory equipment and lab space are in good condition to teach labs.

Lab lecturer candidates are required to have at least a M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (with at least 18 graduate credit hours in chemistry), but a Ph.D. is preferred. Must be able and willing to comply with safety standards, regulations, and precautions; able to stand for extended periods and to lift heavy objects.
