Job Summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a skilled electrician to support repairing, constructing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining routine electrical systems and equipment. This position modifies, aligns, calibrates, designs, programs, installs, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains routine electrical systems and equipment to include control systems and production equipment. Activity involves cutting, threading, bending, coupling, and strapping conduit as required. This position is responsible for troubleshooting electrical malfunctions, inspecting circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and testing electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
Work Model
This position will be located 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintains all electrical infrastructure for company owned, or leased, properties
- Performs preventative maintenance on electrical systems to avoid unscheduled power interruptions
- Adds new electrical circuits for new equipment
- Surveys new construction projects and makes recommendations
- Conducts monthly testing of main back-up generator
- Coordinates with outside contracts to ensures vendors are abiding by current OSHA regulations.
- Position involves lifting, bending, crawling, and climbing a ladder, heavy lifting, possibility of working around loud equipment, and possible exposure to chemicals and biological hazards
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Level II: Two or more years of relevant experience
- Level III: Five or more years of relevant experience
- California state electrician’s license
- Certificate of completion from accredited trade school
- Must be customer service orientated, quickly troubleshoot problems, work well in a team environment, be detail oriented, and have ability to prioritize tasks and projects
- Must possess strong organizational skills, handle multiple priorities and projects at one time, and possess effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts with internal and external organizations

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
