As a Program Manager you will partner with design, engineering and product to help manage and lead the delivery of amazing and emotional end-to-end experiences that will delight our users for Home, News and Entertainment while driving the most value/yield for the business.

In this role you will:
Support ~5 cross-functional squads - partnering with Product, Engineering and Design – within a Yahoo Business Unit.
Facilitate the product lifecycle to ensure a disciplined process from planning, opportunity assessment to delivery, encouraging inclusion and alignment across each squad. Help teams remove blockers, handle dependencies, and resolve prioritization conflicts.
Offer clarity around ownership, roles and responsibilities, obstacles, and drive accountability within squads.
Drive consistency with tools and process for key and critical ceremonies, coaching team and modeling best-practices. Foster a constructive dialogue, harmonize conflicting views, and lead resolution of contentious issues.
Act as key connectors to other parts of the organization, increasing transparency and alignment, and identifying cross-unit issues and opportunities to improve business outcomes.
Facilitate training programs and any centralized support needed to improve alignment and outcomes.
Requirements:
8+ years of industry experience implementing and delivering initiatives as a technical program manager, project manager, SCRUM coach, or similar.
Deep knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies. SCRUM Master certificate a plus.
Experience with JIRA/Confluence.
Prior success in complex, large-scale, multi-team environments in support of business goals. Consumer technology environments are a plus.
Demonstrated track record of cultivating strong working relationships and driving collaboration across multiple product and platform teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The compensation for this position ranges from $129,210.00 - $281,305.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
