Manufacturing Planning Specialist – Internal Manufacturing
The Manufacturing Planning Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed production plans for all plant activities and coordinating with the plant operations groups to ensure efficiency in logistics for production. The candidate will also be responsible for all the necessary transactions that will occur in SAP for the planning role.

Reports to: Manager, Production Planning
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create Maintain all the necessary production planning activities on SAP.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedule for all production activities.
- Performs scheduling and resource loading of operations, calibration, validation, and other activities. Coordinate with other plant operations functional areas (facilities, engineering, validation & supply chain) to develop the production plan to ensure continuous production.
- Responsible to provide manufacturing forecast of inventory such as: AOQ’s, Media Sim, Cleaning and Gowning material.
- Creates, updates, and maintains manufacturing planning and logistics.
- Monitor execution of daily production, measure performance and metrics issuance for the department.
- Draft, create and revised Planning and Logistics SOPs as needed.
- Support if needed on Impact Assessments thru compliance.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary setting, acting as a facilitator to drive fulfillment of strategic goals.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve problems effectively.
- Strong communication skills (e.g., clear and concise), both written and verbal and a team player.
- Advanced Excel experience is required. To be able to create capacity model tools based on actuals and resources provided.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in SAP. Specific experience with SAP planning orders.
- Specific experience with Finite Scheduling software (implementation experience preferred).
- Understanding of CGMP for cell therapy manufacturing.
- Flexibility to work on any Shift required to accommodate the business needs.

Education and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with 6+ years of experience; or
- Associate degree with 8+ years of experience; or
- High school diploma with 9+ years of experience; or
Salary and Benefits:
- $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience
