As a technical editor on our team, you’ll provide editorial review for a variety of client deliverables, including finished intelligence products, official documents, and correspondence. Using your comprehensive understanding of written language and communication, you’ll review documents for proper grammar, punctuation, syntax, style, logic, clarity, consistency, layout, and classification in accordance with client standards. As an authority in your field, your client will look to you for time critical reviews, often under pressure.

You Have:??
- 8+ years of experience in technical or copy editing
- Experience reviewing and editing a variety of written publications in a DoD or IC environment
- Knowledge of IC publication standards, style guides, and formats, including ICD 203, 209, 501, and 710
- Knowledge of the intelligence production and review cycles
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:??
- 12+ years of experience in technical or copy editing
- Experience as a technical editor supporting a CCMD or component organization
- Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
