What You’ll Get to Do:

Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices, and systems.
Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluating and installing patches and resolve software related problems. Perform system backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
- University Degree (BS) in computer science or engineering (5 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree).
At least one year of experience with the following:
- Experience or knowledge with securing systems by following government/compliance requirements (such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-27, NIST 800-137, FISMA, FEDRAMP, STIG).
- Experience with systems administration in Windows Server, Azure or Linux.
- Experience with servers, network devices and data center protocols (i.e., installing, maintaining, accessing).
- Experience with customer (internal or external) interactions, including presenting, answering questions, proactively resolving issues.
- Experience working within a VMWare environment.
- Experience or knowledge with Agile/Kanban, ITIL, or Git/GitHub.
- Experience or knowledge creating and analyzing PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, JAVA based, YAML and/or Python scripts – basically you need to know how to connect things for automation needs.
- Cybersecurity knowledge and ability to apply to everyday IT situations.
Certification Requirement:
- 1 or more Relevant Technical and/or Security Certifications (e.g., Network +, Security+, Microsoft, AWS, VMware, CISSP, CCNA, CCDA, CCNA-Security, etc.) – if you do not have, you will probably be asked to obtain one or more once you start. Are you motivated enough!?!
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- 1+ years’ cumulative experience with log management, network firewalls, and testing. (Being able to track down the root cause of a service/application failure through the use of logs and CLI-based tools (Log-based Analysis, not just guessing)).
- 2+ years’ cumulative experience with enhance data protection and compliance (such as OpenSSL, Keystores, Azure Key Vault, Cyphers).
- 2+ years’ cumulative experience with ServiceNow, DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines and Azure Repos a major plus (otherwise you will be expected to learn these things soon and fast).
- 2+ years’ cumulative experience integrating, securing, and understanding the following Microsoft platform services (both in Windows OS and in Azure Cloud): Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), Windows AD-integrated PKI, Single Sign On (SSO) implementation.
- One (1) of the following certifications: Azure DevOps Engineering Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate
- 2+ years’ recent (within the past 3 years) cumulative experience with Azure Cloud Computing.
- Some experience with any or all of these products or technologies: MS SQL, Red Hat Satellite, IPSEC, SCCM, MDM solutions
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related subject area (or actively obtaining, within 1 year of graduation)
