This is a large team win a fast paced hospital environment which clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics, neurological, behavioral health, and critical care caseloads. Speech Language Pathologists with at least one (1) year hospital acute experience and experience in the NICU are encouraged to apply. The Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited school approved by CAA
- Current state licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Has one (1) year hospital acute experience
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Study a plus
- Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
- Will display strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
- Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence
The responsibilities:
- Speech Language Pathologist, SLP will deliver quality speech services according to treatment plans
- Document progress toward identified objectives
- Provide accurate and timely documentation with EMR
- Conducting patient and family education
- Display strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication
