The Fulfillment Project Coordinator Position
Sunnova Energy is searching for Fulfillment Project Coordinator to be responsible for providing daily support to their assigned Sunnova Account Manager(s) and assigned dealers within their region by project-managing interconnection of residential PV systems within established duration goals. Working with Dealers, AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), Utility companies and Sunnova internal teams, the Fulfillment Project Coordinator will develop working relationships with cross-functional areas to ensure on-time completion of customer installations. The position requires analytical skills and the ability to be thorough in a fast-paced environment.
Fulfillment Project Coordinator Responsibilities
· Project and case management
· Coordinates with Business Development to research new Utility Districts to determine the project blocks required to maintain record of documents to set up block templates; coordinates with other internal teams to set up block templates accordingly by region and products being launched.
· Reviews all project blocks assigned to the Commercial Operations queue within the time set up by the company to allow WIP movement.
· Maintains case queue up to date and confirm cases are being reviewed and closed within the allotted time; manages exception cases and escalate to Dealer as needed.
· Confirms required incentive programs required by jurisdiction and document process to determine project milestone requirements.
· Manages the team’s distribution email, not limited to responses, reviews and submittal of documents to the respective project block.
· Work-In-Progress (WIP) Management with Account Mgmt Team
· Establishes and maintains good relationships with active Sunnova Dealers and serves as main point of contact during installation; assists Dealers with questions and concerns regarding utility processes.
· Tracks, manages, updates, and reports on WIP outside of the duration times established by Sunnova from Notice to Proceed (NTP) to In-Service and Completed statuses.
· Confirms AHJ and utility milestones to assist in forecasting and attaining weekly, monthly, and yearly In-Service goals.
· In-Service
· Coordinates with Dealers to submit and receive Permission to Operate (PTO) from the local utility within established timeframes, verifying receipt.
· Creates and manages cases for Operations & Maintenance when installations exceed In-Service durations after PTO is received.
· Monitors and verifies System Production, remotely troubleshoots systems and manages aging systems where PTO has already been received.
· Utility Account Management
· Serves as main point of contact for utility companies in their designated area/region.
· Documents the detail processes for permission to install and PTO for utility companies.
· Sign and maintain record of all documents signed by Sunnova required by the utility for Third Party Owners, following up on any outstanding PTO applications as needed.
Minimum Requirements
· High School diploma or GED
· 2+ years’ experience in project management or coordination
Preferred Qualifications
· B.A. or B.S. from an accredited college or university in a business-related field
· Utility and/or Permit processing experience preferred
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Ability to adapt and work in an open, fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Attention to detail and good organizational skills
· Ability to work under pressure with strict time deadlines
· PC skills; Microsoft Office applications
· Knowledge of utility contracts
· Ability to multitask and perform other duties as assigned
