Handle the onboarding of all physicians including credentialing, marketing introductions, scheduling of training, orientation to the department, handle the overview of benefits & 401K, and facilitating Connections orientation.
Work as a member of the Business Development & Acquisition team to transition all physicians to VMG.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages the full life cycle recruiting of physicians: recruiting (posting), interviewing, setting up “interview days”.
Manages the process of candidate clearance with the VMG Medical Directors for recommendations for physician hiring and evaluation of the candidate for placement, reference checking, offers, contracts, and onboarding.
Handles onboarding of physicians to Virtua Medical Group: provide guidance in obtaining the required licensure and/or certifications, benefit overview, new hire paperwork retrieval & keying. Manages, coordinates and facilitates Connections Orientation for Physicians.
Communicates and provides updates to VMG lead physician and leadership regarding the contracted physicians’ onboarding progress, timelines and any issues that may arise.
Collaborates closely with AVP Ops, AVP Finance, senior VMG Leadership, and lead physicians throughout VMG to integrate the new physicians and/or practice staff into Virtua/ MSO so that the onboarding of the new practice operations and the employment of physicians and staff occurs seamlessly.
Manages the relationships with outside recruiting firms assisting with recruitment for the Medical Group to ensure timely recruitment, appropriate billings and value added resources.
Oversees the staff processing and the contracts for the physicians by giving opinion and guidance with the salary/contract negotiation.
Manages strategy with the VMG Operations Management group and takes a leading role for coordinating the onboarding process of the business development team as well as works with the team to discuss issues and streamline processes, including staffing plans for the acquired practices.
Special projects, committees, meetings, training classes, seminars, conferences, and additional responsibility as assigned.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
At least three years of recruitment experience preferably in healthcare.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree.
