THE POSITION
The goal of this position is to teach high school students Algebra II at both the academic and honors levels.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
1. NJ Math Teacher Certification or Eligibility required. 2. Experience developing engaging and innovative lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. 3. Ability to regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. 4. Dedication to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students with the ability to motivate, inspire, and effectively engage students in learning. 5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to be a lifelong learner. 6. A collaborative mindset to work as part of our math team and be an active member of planning with and strengthening the STEM department. 7. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.
