Security Administrator, Mid
Key Role:
Perform a wide variety of security administrative duties to support industrial and program security requirements supporting multiple intelligence community (IC) customers. Process security clearance access requests, document reportable information, provide initial security briefings and debriefings, and prepare and maintain sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) documentation. Schedule, confirm, and support meetings and conferences, manage the usage of secure conference rooms, assist with the verification of visit certifications, and maintain visitor and usage logs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with security administrative processes and procedures
- Experience with computer software applications, including security databases, e-mail, and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Security Executive Agent Directives for personnel security standards, adjudicative guidelines, reporting requirements, continuous evaluation, and reciprocity of background investigations
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks, apply attention to detail, and work in a high-tempo environment
- Ability to interact with customers and colleagues professionally, and advise personnel at all levels while fostering positive business relationships
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with organizational and file management
- Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) policy and implementation guidance
- Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-37 and NIST SP 800-53
- Ability to follow the NISPOM, ICDs, and DoD manuals to ensure security procedures are consistent with security regulations
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
