Department Overview
The Land Rights Services group (LRS) is a part of the Land Management (LM) organization which is responsible for the oversight and management of PG&E land assets which include fee properties and various land entitlements. PG&E owns and manages nearly 140,000 acres of land spread across 49 California counties, from Shasta County on the north to Kern County on the south. The company is one of the largest private property owners in the state, and in addition manages thousands of acres of right-of-way easements for electric and gas facilities.
Position Summary
The Work & Resource Analyst position will help develop and communicate an integrated and optimized work plan portfolio for the Land Rights team. This position will develop effective working relationships with functional leads to establish the baseline strategic approach to work plan execution which could include work group financial/staffing reporting, contracting and invoice reconciliation. Will work with key stakeholders to identify work plans and contracts for short and long-term business improvements.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $98,000
Bay Area Maximum: $146,000

California Minimum: $93,000?
California Maximum: $139,000
Job Responsibilities
• Partners with functional areas to facilitate the development of work plans
• Quantifies the funding and resources required to execute work plans efficiently in financial and operational terms
• Develops contingency plans for the portfolio of work in the annual plan.
• Monitors completed and active work plans, tracking costs against the plan
• Runs regular reports from multiple data sources
• Tracks and monitors key performance indicators
• Helps determine options if plans are off schedule or over cost and may recommend plan changes to ensure work completion.
• Ensures resource balancing among projects throughout function
• Communicates work plan updates, analysis of plans and actuals and discusses the trends and implications.
• Provides training and explanation on additional ways the users can use existing reports to further investigate issues or identify causes of variances.
• Develops recommendations regarding new or better reports based on assessment of user needs and work and resource planning trends.
• Participates in groups for brainstorming and process mapping to help improve business processes
• May participate on department project teams.
Qualifications
Minimum
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Statistics or Finance or equivalent experience
• 5 years of related business experience
