Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, the Human
Resources Technician (HRT) performs a variety of confidential technical duties in
support of certificated and/or classified Human Resources operations and activities,
along with provided administrative support to the Human Resources department. The
HRT perform analytical and technical work; research, compile and analyze data;
processes a variety of forms and applications; monitor credential requirements and
process applications; maintain up-to-date and accurate information on credential rules
and regulations; provide information and assistance to employees, job applicants and
the general public regarding personnel functions, policies and procedures; provide
technical and detailed information to District personnel; prepares and maintains a
variety of manual and automated personnel files, records and reports.
