The Client SoC Architecture Group in DEG (now part of CCG) has an opening for a senior SoC architect, developing Intel Automotive Products that are derived from the mainstream client roadmap, and with an emphasis on the Chipset or IO Portion of the Intel Automotive Product.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- As a senior client SoC architect with a focus on Intel Automotive products and an emphasis on IO, your responsibilities would include the following activities.
- Be the lead SoC architect for the Intel Automotive product and lead architect for the PCD (south complex) automotive die.
- Work closely with the Intel Automotive Product Architect to assist in the definition of the product, and then to translate the product requirements into an SOC Architecture that meets the requirements.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure that the specified SOC Architecture is implemented and validated appropriately.
- Develop the architecture for features needed on the client SoC to meet the needs of the Intel Automotive Business Unit. Develop architecture solutions with the SOC to meet the specific needs of Intel Automotive.
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
10+ years of industry experience listed below:
- Experience in the design and validation of high-performance and complex Power and Thermal solutions.
- High Speed IO, PCI Express, USB3, Display, Camera and Imaging
- Broad knowledge of computer systems (software, hardware, firmware, silicon).
- Performance, power, and use case modeling expertise and understanding.
Or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of industry experience listed below:
- Experience in the design and validation of high-performance and complex Power and Thermal solutions.
- High Speed IO, PCI Express, USB3, Display, Camera and Imaging
- Broad knowledge of computer systems (software, hardware, firmware, silicon).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, California:$186,760.00-$299,166.00
Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
