The Project Management/Commercialization Analyst is responsible for assisting with the management of Marketing processes for line extensions, product changes and product deletions. This role supports the systematic “stage-gate” and Salesforce processes for projects from initial requests to project completion. The Project Management/Commercialization Analyst supports cross-functional project teams maintaining documentation to track project status. This role is responsible for Branded Food Service and Custom Restaurant (CR) commercialization processes for any North American or regional initiatives. Must be able to handle multiple priorities, in a fast-paced environment and strong project management is a requirement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain project timelines, leads packaging changes, highlighting, and identifying commercialization risks and adjusting workarounds as appropriate.
- Assess business processes to identify gaps and solutions to improve commercialization efforts. Optimizes processes for line extensions, product changes, product deletions, speed to market initiatives, coordinated efforts of many North American cross functional teams.
- Lead the projects for Product changes utilizing the McCormick technologies such as: Salesforce, Cloud Coach, MS Project etc.
- Issue minutes for projects led and/or other team meetings.
- Maintain a shared ownership of data integrity for projects in Salesforce.
- Lead line-extension projects when required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred level of education.
- 1-2 years of project management experience with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects at one time.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong commnication, organizational, and detail orientated skills required.
- Ability to multi-task, be resourceful, adaptable, and self motivating.
- Proven record of achieving results with limited supervision.
- Ability to motivate others to achieve results and to deliver against commitments without formal authority.
- Exercises discretion regarding data and sources, analytic conclusions, and smaller strategic recommendations.
- A good understanding of innovation commercialization process and how the team interacts and integrates with others in accomplising objectives.
- Good understanding of Innovation stage gate process, Custom Restaurant Salesforce process, and other commmercialization activities.
- System savvy (SAP, MS365 platform, MS Project, Excel, SalesForce.com) preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading and championing business plan recommendations for senior management preferred.
- Ability to speak to all audiences using appropriate trade jargon.
- Ability to travel 0-5% as needed.
