Minimum Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a school accepted for candidacy status from an accrediting body.
Minimum Work Experience: - Current license to practice Nursing in the State of Ohio - Three (3) years of recent experience in the role of a nurse in an Emergency Department, Critical Care, or Medical Surgical setting.
Required Skills and Knowledge: - Ability to communicate effectively with physician, and other health care professionals as well as patients and families. - Demonstrates the knowledge to triage patients to the appropriate level of care when planning bed placement or facilitating care at time of admission. - Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
